"This was a very nice, straightforward hotel with everything we needed. The room was spacious, and the large bathroom was well designed. Breakfast was merely passable, but reasonable for the price. The automated check-in and checkout did not work for us, even with staff assistance, though the system may work better for regular guests. The hotel’s greatest advantages are its spectacular view of the castle and its proximity to the train station. It is extremely convenient, although guests who are sensitive to noise may prefer a room facing away from the trains. There was also a huge massage chair in the room. It took up far too much space, but fortunately it was easy to push out of the way."

"The hotel is older and in need of upgrades both inside and out However everything was clean and orderly We had a great corner room with huge views from two windows with no overlooking The food was traditional Japanese done to perfection really a beautiful dinner and breakfast so wonderful to try so many new things A fun experience high up in the surrounding hills"
