Friendly and solicitous staff went a long way toward making my stay enjoyable. And the price-performance is good, especially when Hiroshima hotels are full or crazily priced. One thing: I had to book a "smoking" room, because all the non-smoking rooms were booked. There's a reason they were all booked, Japan hoteliers: no one wants a smoking room, not even smokers. SuperHotels tend to have nice/fresh patisseries for breakfast, eggs & sausages not so appetizing though (bland/lukewarm). Staff were ok (checkin is 3pm though not 2.45pm or a bit earlier even if your room is ready).
