"Had a lovely weekend break. This is a traditional country hotel, rooms and decor are dated to match the country setting, which we prefer. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and attentive. The option of dining in the bar or the restaurant, gave us diversity with evening meals, with menu and price accordingly. We chose Friday night in the bar and Saturday in the restaurant and the food was excellent on both nights. We will definitely return, and use this as a base for walking. Hopefully when the weather isn’t as wet or the ground as muddy. "
