Ordering food to-go was quick and easy, and the options were delicious and beautifully presented. The sauna and gym were clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Dinner was a highlight—especially the roasted vegetables and Icelandic lamb. Great service and a wonderful selection of drinks made the evening even better. We also spent time enjoying drinks while waiting for the aurora borealis, and the staff was incredibly accommodating throughout. And then—the grand finale—the northern lights appeared - subtle, but beautiful. After a storm and with another one approaching, it felt like such a gift. This hotel is truly the perfect place to experience Iceland’s magic. "
