"We stayed for three nights in October half term. The goat was in a lovely quiet location just a short distance from Harry Potter world. Everything we needed for an easy stay, comfortable beds, quiet neighbours."

"Staff were lovely and helpful, breakfast was fantastic, spa was nice
Only negative, the corridor to our room had plates left outside the room for a while and created a smell at times
Other than that, I'd recommend it"

We had a wonderful weekend, the sun was shining so the outdoor pool was a must. We opted for Collette's restaurant in the evening, the food was divine and attention and service first class. The grounds are amazing with lovely water features, plants and contemporary design ornaments. A great weekend in fab hotel.

We have stayed at the Shendish a couple of times before since we regularly stay in this locality in order to visit relatives. We have always enjoyed the accommodation and the food has always been of excellent quality but we have had cause to complain in the past due to the service being rather too efficient and we would have preferred a slightly more relaxed approach in the dining room. This time, however, we were absolutely blown away by the change in atmosphere in the dining room and it really...

What a fabulous hotel. I am happy to highly recommend. Friendly, professional staff. Clean and well equipped room and spotless shower room with lovely towels. The food was a very high standard with plenty of choice for everyone. The bar entertainment on Friday night was excellent. The pool and spa facilities were 'the icing on the cake' ..clean warm pool big enough to have a good swim. Sauna, steam room and hot tub were also excellent. I was so pleased with this hotel. The farm was beautiful and the access to the land was wonderful. There's still some exploring we'd like to do, next time.
The room was superb, cleanliness was at a high standard.
All staff were welcoming and friendly.

This is a unique and characteristic hotel with lots of history and amazing architecture. The scenery, gardens and the estate overall are simply gorgeous. The spa and the outdoor pool area is also very nice especially in good weather (it may be difficult to find a lounger when it is sunny though). The room I stayed in was nicely decorated with wood panellings and period furnitures; bed was very comfortable as well. However, if you love modern luxury, you may be disappointed with the rooms since...

I am kind of reluctant to write this as I want to keep this little Gem a secret all for myself, but I have to share with you all what a wonderful place the Bel and Dragon is. Right from the start I was greeted by a roaring log fire and a friendly face at checkout, whilst being shown my room the complementary 10yr and 12yr old whiskeys for the guests to sample where pointed out.
The room was immaculate and decorated to a very fine finish.
The pub its self has a great vibe it was a Weds and...

We stayed here for two nights either side of my investiture at Windsor Castle. The location for Windsor Castle could not have been better. The Castle is pretty much across the road.
The concierges were both exceptionally helpful.
I strongly recommend this hotel.
