"Because of the fab views of Robin Hoods bay. I took a punt and booked into this old hotel. From walking through the door I was blown away by how the communal areas have been modernised. Even though the staff were obviously busy, I suggest they quickly learn to be a little friendlier/ warm to guests (they weren't bad, just not engaging)."

"I have given five stars all round as it was well deserved. The bed was very comfortable, there was a wine cooler/fridge and a safe in the room, plenty of hanging and drawer space in the triple wardrobe. The room was much better than we had expected. "

"The owners are very friendly and helpful, and are also very nice people. Everything is spotless. Beds are very comfortable and warm. Breakfast is really excellent. Restaurant meals are also really good. The area is really quiet and peaceful. Plenty of private car parking. Will definitely stay there again. "
