The hotel is in a good location for walking around close to tge river. Lots of dining options and bars around. Good breakfast options, plenty of choice although quite busy at times.

The hotel is located right in a busy area, so there are many dining options within 10-15 minutes' walking distance. The breakfast spread was diverse with many Asian and Western options, plus a made-to-order egg station, and a noodle-soup station as well. Our room was large enough, the AC blew Arctic-cold wind when we required it, and a nice view of the surrounding area laid on the other side of our window.

A Good Hotel
Romance Hotel is located right in the city, close to many restaurants nearby. All staff has a smile face. The roof top pool is fantastic. The only downside is too many guests during early breakfast hours.

The most comfortable beds in Vietnam! Having stayed in 5 different places so far, my most comfortable sleep was here. My back was very grateful! Staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble, great breakfast buffet and the hotel is perfectly placed for local bars, restaurants and sites.

The hotel is centrally located in Hue. The lobby and hotel room was pleasant, clean. The complimentary breakfast was terrific, with a very wide selection of dishes. The only hiccup during my stay was a water pipe in the bathroom ceiling burst one evening, causing the bathroom to flood. I was out of the room during the time, and when I returned I was assigned to a new room. Thankfully only the stuff in the bathroom got wet! Of course, I imagine this was a freak occurrence (and the hotel staff were very apologetic).

Awesome Location, Affordable & Luxurious
Location: Smack Middle of Everything! Hard to get lost as you can see easily identify the hotel if you are within walking distance. Breakfast: Buffet style with Hue staple dishes & western food. Real abundance of food. Can eat by the outdoor pool, or indoors. TIP:Take your selfie stick after breakfast to the spiral stairs leading to the rooftop for some pictures overseeing the city! Apartment: Can't adjust the AC; Just call the front desk and tell them what temperature you want in your room. I stayed in the Executive Deluxe room. Ridiculous amount of space (loft-like) with a huge bathroom and a living room. 2 TVs (1 living room; other in bedroom). Tub/Shower combo was over the top. If you use the whole closet, then you brought too much clothing. Just insane... get the point? Staff: Didn't need to speak to the staff but all seemed helpful Facilities: No one went to the gym/spa, so it was all shut off. If you want to use it, just tell them 1/2 hr in advance so they can get the facilities running. Overall Review: Get the Executive Deluxe... I could have stayed at their basic room, but since this hotel is extremely affordable in the low season (early March), so felt like pampering myself was the right thing to do.

Stayed here for 3 nights, the location is good, close to bars and restaurants and travel agencies The rooms are a bit dark and something should be done about the lack of hot water in the shower at times, but otherwise the room is quite decent and comfortable

Newly renovated hotel,but my room had No hot water
Stayed at the Romance Hotel for one night and after checking in and trying to take a shower, discovered there was no hot water. Informed the staff, but nothing was done. Breakfast is only served till 9am...which is very early considering I was there on the weekend and wanted to sleep in. The hotel has been renovated, but with no hot water...I didn't enjoy my stay. Will be looking for another hotel for my stays in Hue

Good standard hotel in walking distance to Citadel
Large room with an enormous bed (pillows as soft as marshmallows) and good facilities. Buffet breakfast had a very good selection of food to suit both eastern and western tastes. The spa treatments were good value but be warned, the Vietnamese massage is like a sports massage and equally as painful. Expect a few bruises the next day! Nice roof top pool if the weather permits; free and secure internet access also available around pool area.

We really enjoyed our stay here and found it to be worth the cost. The rooftop pool area is a beautiful and refreshing space. Our room was clean, organized and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent staff/facility/food/location
The staff are very very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The resto on the top floor features 30 different choices for every breakfast. The lunch/diner dishes are very tasty (cost about 23 USD for 2 persons). The surrounding area also has many resto, but we are happy with the resto in the hotel. The double room we had were huge, about 4000 sqft (400 sqm), the bed is very comfortable. However, the air conditioning is centrally controlled. No matter the temperature we set, it always cooled down to about 18 celcius, and there was only 1 thin cover in the room, so our 2-year-old girl get a bit of a cold. Actually this is the only drawback in this wonderful hotel. The shower always has lots of hot water, and the tub drains very well. the bathroom is of a good size too. A couple and a baby still have space to move around in that bathroom. Close by, there are 2 K-Mart store where you can buy needed items (for us, it is imported baby milk, cookies) On the "Chu van An" street near by, there is a place that washes your cloth by kilogram, quite affordable. We washed 5 kg of our clothes there. If we had washed those clothes by pieces with laundry prices in any hotel, we would go broke. The hotel is close to many the attractions (Old Kingdom, Trang Tien bridge, Huong river, Dap Da). Taxi are also affordable about 2 USD to go to most tourist sites, and they all have meters so no need to negotiate. Watch out for the tricycles, they tend to charge you 3 times the local prices

Our group was all very happy with our rooms and stays at this hotel. Breakfast was also great. Hotel also had great rooftop swimming pool. We will stay here again when we come back to Hue.

Beautiful hotel in excellent location.
The room at Romance hotel was gorgeous. The rooftop pool was lovely though it was too cool to use it when we were there. Breakfast was also taken up on the roof (but inside) so the views were amazing.

Good Place to Stay in Hue
Not far from the rail station, Romance Hotel had all we needed. The room was spacious and clean, with a massive bed and good size bathroom. It is well located near shops and restaurants and the pool was delightful with a great view of Hue from the top floor. Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful, some with good English skills. If you are after a dependable hotel with good facilities, Romance Hotel is a solid choice.

We enjoyed our stay in Romance hotel in Hue and will come back next time visiting Vietnam. We had a deluxe triple room with window view. The room is spacious, relax, nice and clean. The staffs are very nice and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is outstanding with varied delicious dishes. Among all the hotels that we stayed in Vietnam, Romance hotel has the best breakfast buffet.

Quality stay
We managed to get a booking a Romance Hotel on Expedia on a 50% off sale. The rooms were lovely, clean and fairly spacious. The bathrooms were a good size with a good overhead shower. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, with a range of choices in both Vietnamese and Western cuisine that varied everyday. We were a little disappointed to realise we were located smack-bang in the middle of a tourist/backpacker hotspots and it was a little difficult to find anything but Western restaurants nearby. But we managed to come across a couple of lovely local restaurants with excellent food and service, one of which offered us cheaper tours than the hotel could provide. However, it was very close to the Perfume River and we enjoyed an evening stroll to visit the colourful Truong Tien Bridge. All-in-all, a decent stay, a comfortable and clean hotel, but an unfortunate location if you're looking to mingle with locals.
