"We've booked the only room with an ocean view balcony at the top floor (which is also their most expensive room) for 4 people for 2 nights. The room was nicely decorated but was tight for 4 people (not much floor space to walk around with 2 big beds in the room). Bathroom was clean but small again. The other annoying issue was our ocean view balcony (which we paid extra for) was used as a drying area for the homestay's laundry such as towels, big bed sheets and their own personal clothing items...

"Very nice stay in the suite with a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately the earthquake cut our stay short, but they were so accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. What a terrifying thing for the staff to navigate - they were wonderful. I fear the hotel had significant damage and hope they will be able to reopen. "

"We were staying here during the April 3rd earthquake (7.5). The staff jumped into action to keep safe and care for all guests. We want to commend the hotel for their response in a disaster. Additionally, the hotel was nice, with good amenities. We were not too far from the main area of town. We would love to go back and stay again."

"As a family of four, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Parkview. Highlights include: free shuttle from the train station (they met us at the train station exit with a sign so it was easy to find), delicious breakfast buffet, concierge to schedule tours (they reserved a half day tour of Taroko for us and it was an amazing tour too), Game Center for the kids, indoor and outdoor pools, huge rooms, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful.
