All the B&Bs we stayed in the East Coast have no elevators, but the staff helped carry our suitcases. We got a map and recommendations. A couple of recommendations didn't work out. The restaurant wasn't what we preferred (Italian in Taiwan wasn't what we were looking for) and a culture center recommended to us was closed for renovation. We liked the night market within walking distance and found a good vegetarian meal in one of the indigenous restaurants there.
