"Second time I've visited this year. I booked this hotel for the breakfast and it did not disappoint. Beach is a little small but the two pools were more than enough. Gym was well equipped, felt very new, and everything was spotless. Room was fine albeit humid, and overall service was great."

"What a fantastic Villa. Stayed here for 18 nights and cannot fault it. The Villa is finished to a very high standard throughout. Loved the outdoor areas both for cooking and relaxing. The property is well maintained with the pool cleaned twice a week, garden daily and housekeeping as often as you choose. The pool was super clean !
Check-In was efficient. Khun Pan, our host, met us at the property to explain everything and show us how to use the various appliances. There is also a free...
"Positive: Sizable private pool, large rooms & living area.
Neg: You need a car to drive around, quite far walking to main road (20mins), Shower is weak"
"The condo itself was lovely. The location was good on the main street and we knew there was no easy beach access from there. This was balanced out by the lovely big pool it has. Here is where things went horribly awry. Unbeknownst to us the pool was closed for maintenance the day before we arrived for 6 weeks. Our host did not return any of our messages from the time we landed in Thailand. I still have not heard back from him. We would have cancelled our stay & booked elsewhere had we known we...

Loved my stay at The Standard. Beautifully designed and staff were all so helpful and friendly. Food was also great.
I’d make 2 changes. An adult only pool (quite a few kids in the main pool and they tended to take over at times) and a bigger breakfast area.
I’d still come back!

We spent five nights in one of the Silksand rooms and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The swimming pools are immaculate and it's nice to have the option of a beachfront pool or larger pool near the rooms as well as the smaller shaded jetted pool.
The spa was excellent as were all of the staff at the resort. They couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. We used the complimentary tuktuk almost every day which was really useful to get to where you want to go in Hua Hin. We walked back most evenings as...

This was the best hotel we have stayed in. It was luxurious. It has a lovely stretch of beach which gets cleaned every day. The staff are very polite and friendly and helpful. The Thai restaurant is the best and reasonable price. The Italian is expensive and has a very limited menu. The breakfast is amazing but too expensive £25 each for buffet which is unacceptable. A little secret garden and hideaway on the beach. Incredibly well designed, feels uber exclusive, staff super helpful, almost too helpful. 😂. Room amazing and quirky. Your own roof terrace with jacuzzi and day bed, pretty cool stuff and normally you’d be remortgaging your house to pay for this level of luxury. I don’t even want to write this review as I wanted to keep it a secret but hey, felt like I owed them a favour for such a lovely time. Big resorts are fine, but noisy and annoying for me.

Immaculate and tastefully decorated.
Very small and away from the bustle of Hua Hin but - depending on your point of view - maybe a negstive.
In our case though we loved it and can’t wait to go back: if you want peace and quiet, drop dead beautiful scenery and architecture, good food and attentive staff this is the place.
