Northern Sands Hotel

3.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (188)
"Nice room with comfortable bed, small area for making tea/coffee and good shower. The breakfast was ample and the staff were all very friendly and efficient. We had dinner there as there was not much in the way of other restaurants and it was fine - nothing special but hot, good portions and vegetarian options available. There is a bar at the hotel. "

Forss House Hotel

4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (206)
"Friendly staff and were upgraded to room in the Hotel, rather than the cottages. Room was lovely and bathroom
luxurious
. Dinner and breakfast were served in the conservatory which had a lovely outlook of the gardens and a bird feeder which attracted a lot of birds. Dinner was excellent, Michelin Star material. We walked in gardens which were picturesque with Waterfall and WaterMill only about 50 yards from the Hotel. Check out the record Salmon in the Bar."

Celtic Lodges

2.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (15)
"Very clean on arrival, just off the NC500 but not noisy. All amenities needed were provided. Service from Wayne was excellent, he introduced himself and gave recommendations and when we had need of some oven gloves, he gave us his pair and immediately ordered more to stock up. Had a slight issue with a shower tap which he got fixed the day after we left, and even text us to let us know he had fixed it. You won't find someone happier to make sure your stay is wonderful. Would certainly book...

"Our stay at The Park Hotel was excellent. Warm and welcoming staff set the tone right at the door. We arrived about 7pm, so after checking in we popped right into the pub for dinner. It was fantastic, fresh and full of flavor. We started with prawns, i had mussels and hubby had duck, every bite was wonderful. We had some local beer and just had to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, delicious. We walked upstairs to our lovely, well appointed room. It had a king size bed, large bathroom and...
