"Decent room, wasn't over fussed about leaving my car in a public car park but it wasn't touched. Lovely staff, a tidy steak in the evening and breakfast was fine. Poached eggs on the breakfast menu would have been nice! I'd stay there again if I needed a room in the area."

The location is idyllic and there are beautiful cows and sheep to watch. The highlight was the log burner that was very welcome on a cold and rainy February night. "3 adults staying 4 nights, Monday to Friday, for work in the area. Didn't get to see the sites, but the accommodation was a nice play to stay. Easy to find (recommend using What3Words, not postcode on Maps) and access. Good stable Wi-Fi, TV, clean bedding and towels, and the little extras (milk, bread, biscuits, tea, coffee, crisps) were a lovely touch. It has all the facilities you need for a longshort stay. We also had a small interaction with the owner who was a nice gentleman. Would definitely recommend."

"The house was comfortable for our family get together with large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge and kitchen. We especially enjoyed the outside seating area for a pre dinner drink. It is excellently located very near the town centre and a park and also nearby is a very good garden centre."
