Really well situated for the Poole Harbour area. The quay is about a one minute walk and there are many bars and restaurants with a 5 minute walk.
The hotel itself is in a charming old property and has a lovely outdoor terrace area for eats and drinks
Bodega was a Clean accessible room. Apart from stain to carpet needing attention was of high standard for furnishings and comforts. Bed like a cloud! Staff attentive, nothing too much trouble really helpful. Air-conditioning was very effective.
Amazing little find. Reception staff very polite. Room spacious and very clean. Lovely property. Short stroll to the harbour and shops. Would definately stay again.
The room was amazing, very clean and plenty of space, the welcome and all the staff were first class. the food and service was outstanding. This hotel is truly excellent
Still the best place to stay in Poole. Shower was awesome, enough room to get a rugby union team in!!! Great location near the restaurants on the Quay and a ten minute walk from the train station. Deluxe Room was very spacious and had an iron bath in the corner!! However, mattress was too soft and the pillows too 'fluffy'. Just a personal note, but we needed hard mattresses and 'dull' pillows. Breakfast is over-priced (plenty of coffee shops/delicatessens in Poole), but if you need to eat one, buy the Cooked and go all in!! Large bar area and restaurant. Fabulous building all round, full of history - you can learn about one of the previous owners in nearby Poole Museum.
Heating worked really well, had to turn it down. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very good.
Limited parking at hotel. No plug socket for hairdryer near the mirror.
Would stay again for sure.
Nice hotel we have used before. Good facilities and cleanliness. Apart from a small problem with parking which staff handled poorly we enjoyed our stay.
Really enjoyed the selection at breakfast. Was kindly upgraded to a deluxe room with the biggest shower I’ve ever seen! Comfy bed with nice linens etc. A lovely stay.
Went away for one night for our wedding anniversary room was beautiful reception she couldn't do enough for us breakfast was excellent would highly recommend this hotel
