"Lovely friendly staff, always remembering that I stayed before. We get the room we have requested. We order a vegetarian roast which is outstanding, food delicious and hot. Plenty of parking. Depending where the room is you can hear the traffic going past in the evening & mornings but overall alovely stay. That's why we keep going back and also you have a choice of breakfast part of the deal."

The premises were clean and comfortable, we opted for a continental breakfast and the selection offered was excellent. We ate two evening meals which were hot and tasty and well presented. Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of items (ordered the night before). The fruit salad was fab & I can highly recommend the omelette! My husband had the full English, which he really enjoyed. Offered more tea/coffee & toast. The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area...

All the little additions that make a great b&b are considered and make the stay special. The breakfast is good value and the service is really attentive and aimed to give you a great experience. The information they provide is also helpful but they could do with up dating some of the restaurant reccomendations which were in some cases overly optimistic in the presentation! Fab stay would thoroughly reccomend.

Beautiful surroundings in a lovely quiet village . Hosts were very welcoming and friendly and facilities were great . The en-suite double room we had was like having your own little bedsit . TV , settee and large comfy bed . Grounds to the property were lovely with lots of trees and fishing ponds . We only stared for one night but it was spot on . I think if we had stayed any longer we would not have wanted to go home .

We picked this hotel at random whilst travelling towards Norwich just expecting an ordinary little pub. Imagine our surprise when we were shown to a roomy room with a large en suite. Also deciding to have dinner we were served a beautifully presented meal which would compete favorably with many of the restaurants in the area and beyond. The staff were friendly and well versed in the history of the area.

Arrived at the Shrewsbury after a very long journey. Was greeted by sandie who was friendly and nothing was any trouble for them. She showed us to room which was very well equipped and extremely clean. We had the four poster suite which was beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic served by Tony who was always very friendly and always found time for a chat offering a wide range which filled us up till the evening.
