We had a great welcome after walking all day on the Pennine Way. The room was comfortable, clean and met our every need. The evening meal was delicious and ample. We would definitely recommend High Force Hotel.

Very prompt friendly and efficient book in even though staff were preparing for a busy night, room immaculate and clean all new bathroom. The drive to and from the hotel was breathtaking especially if you head for Carlisle like I did. Thanks for having me I hope to visit again. Best wishes Michael

I stayed here with my partner for a wedding. I got here around midday and fro that point onward everything was fantastic. All of the staff here were so friendly and accommodating, even arranging taxis for us and then keep an eye on them to arrive while we had a beer. Arrived later than expected, we were provided with sandwiches etc to save us going into town. Best bed I've slept in for a long time. Dog friendly.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, comfy bed, lovely hot powerful shower! Great food and beer, really enjoyed my stay!

Our stay at the Westgate Manor was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. Hosts, Stuart and Kathryn give a very high standard of personal service to us and made our short stay memorable. The Manor offers fantastic accommodation and a truly wonderful experience with young dear in the garden in the early morning and three peacocks roaming around! We will be back. Thank you.

My room was gorgeous. Actually, I have stayed here twice and both times had room 1. It is exquisitely decorated. The hotel has free WiFi and the was no problem downloading a webinar with video. The most fabulous thing on my stay were the Christmas decorations. There was a room with an oak beam ceiling hung with over 100 giant snowflakes. The result was stunning.

Loved my spacious room and bathroom. The carpet was really stained and smelly, it needs to go. The carpet on the stairs up to the rooms was even worse. Staff were lovely.
