Really enjoyed the stay as normal Service experience excellent Room comfortable Food was good but think it needs a change

Disabled double room was no bigger than a normal double room. Manoeuvring a wheel-chair around the foot of the bed was difficult and meant squeezing past the TV stand. Could not get wheel-chair along side of the bed, so had to use the other side. Shower/WC room too small to use washbasin from wheel-chair without it sticking out into the bedroom and unable to close bathroom door. We loved the feel of the place , it was like been on holiday sitting outside in the courtyard drinking freshly made coffee . The staff went above and beyond and were very helpful and friendly . We will be going back .

Beautiful grounds surround this mix of well planned old and modern hotel. A very pleasant place to stay.

Loved room. LOVED dove hair and body wash as forgot shampoo and it was amazing. Room service not great. No answer and took ages for a wrap. I was on a quick turnaround with work so this was quite stressful. But check in staff made it work. Amazing lunch next day. Lovely staff and delicious food.

Birthday weekend away for my husband, and they even did a birthday surprise for him. Can't believe this is a 5 ⭐️ Hotel. Great food great monthly wines and ales. Highly recommend

I needed a overnight stopover on route to Peterborough, so research i did, i located this hidden gem. We ariived late in the evening for a weekend break and were welcomed by Dave who showed us to our luxury bungalow. In the bungalow Denise had prepared us a grocery pack which we made full use of with arriving so late. My elderly mum was with us and Dave and Denise really did go above and beyond spoiling us.
