"We came to Suffolk to do some family tree research and Orford was a great place to stay. Although there wasn't dedicated parking, there was always plenty of space in the market square. The village itself is a lovely place to stay, with plenty of places to walk and explore. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and well equipped. "

"Beautiful cottage in a great location. Felt at home straight away with all the amenities and more that you could want. Fantastic location, a stone's throw from the beach. Everything provided was tasteful and of a high spec/standard. Would definitely recommend to others to stay. Lucy was easy to contact and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended. "We really enjoyed our stay at Hattie’s! The property was super clean and the owners Nicki and Steve were very pleasant and welcoming. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to others and hopefully will visit again in the future."

"The property was perfectly placed in Aldburgh and had everything you would expect and need for a short stay. Our only critique is that the property is now looking really tired and the owners should think about redecorating, especially the bathrooms. Seeing the endless number of holiday rentals available in Aldburgh I dont think we'd stay again if returning."

"The property is in an excellent position, close to shops, restaurants and the beach, there was parking outside. The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped. The courtyard garden was unloved and the patio furniture was dirty. The flowerpots outside the front door were full of weeds,...

"We stayed for my Dad’s surprise 80th birthday celebration. We all had different needs and they were all fulfilled. Comfortable, homely and good value for such a large group."

"We had a fantastic stay in this lovely home. The neighbourhood was peaceful, making it a great base to explore the area, with beautiful walks through nearby fields. The house itself was clean, open, and spacious, equipped with everything we needed. The fully fenced outdoor space was a great bonus, especially for those visiting with a dog. We would definitely recommend it to friends and, if we’re back in the area, we’d happily stay again!"
