The only thing for me was that the room was hot at night, I had a ground floor room with patio doors but there was no smaller window to open during the night for cooler air while I slept, other than that an excellent stay. "On arrival had a warm welcome from the staff who asked if we wanted drinks we said yes and that we had booked 2 rooms. "This hotel really did represent value for money on a weekend where the city was busy due to a famous comedian performing. The hotel is central and only a five minute walk from the train station. Staff helpful, communal spaces lovely for a drink in the evening. Room was roomy shower powerful with lovely toiletries provided - only one bath towel provided for 2 of us but that will have been an oversight and guess what we coped. The breakfast was ok I had to ask for more bread which then was provided, not a great selection of fresh fruit to go with yogurt but yet again we coped don’t know if that represented value for money. However the setting is nice. Would stay here again."
