"We were visiting our son studying at Exeter University for the semester. Convenient by car. Ample parking. We loved the Guidebook put together by the property manager. It was extensive and instructions were clear. The only thing we had to hunt for was the linens/covering for the hideaway. Kitchen had what we needed for cooking. Thanks!"

"The cottage is lovely located. 25 minutes by foot to the town center and 15 minutes to the river Exe. Parking space direct available in front of the cottage. A small supermarket is nearby. The heating did work without any issues. A dining room is not available.Alison the host was also super quickly in her response if we had any questions. You have also second key to the cottage.We enjoyed our stay at the cottage."

The beds where so comfy it was hard to get up in the morning Lovely historic building in a great location, idyllic view from living room overlooking river in a quiet village within walking distance to Shaldon village with several pubs and cafés. "Did need a thorough clean as a little grubby, we were warned that some previous guests had contributed to this. I think 66 steps to reach the property needs to be clearer and path lighting at night is poor.The parking for a large 4x4 is not possible near the house. Views were spectacular and the aspect is lovely, but a little tired. "
