"We stayed in this house because of it's close proximity to family during the holidays, but it ended up being such a great find that we hope to stay in again! The house uses space very well, the kitchen is spacious and I found everything I needed to do baking and cooking. We loved the room that looked out on the lake with big sliding doors. One thing to note is that one bedroom, with the King sized bed, is down in a refinished area of the basement, so it does require lots of up and down a steep...

The accommodations are comfortable and the hosts were thoughtful and considerate, providing everything we could need. They were very friendly, as were the surrounding neighbors. "Our son goes to UVM and felt like exploring the area beyond Burlington. This was the perfect location for us to make day trips to bike the Colchester Causeway, get fresh apple Cider, take walks by the lake and see Montreal. The cottage is cozy and cute with lots of thoughtful touches, including robes, slippers, toiletries, local snacks and more. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who our son no doubt missed more than us! Highly recommend!"

"Dillenbeck Cabins are excellent. They're 'rustic' (lots of wood, built by Amish carpenters - it's a cabin not a hotel) but practically new and immaculately clean. The heating is excellent and the cabin comes with all the kitchen. You need to bring linens/blankets and towels but that just makes it feel more homelike. Soap, garbage bags, toilet tissue, washing-up items are provided.There's a boat launch very close, restaurants and grocers 10-20 mins away (we didn't go, that's ours and Google's...

"The property was great! The house was nice and clean. We had an issue with a leak under the kitchen sink and Steven was quick to respond and came right over and fixed the issue in less than 5 minutes. I was disappointed that there was no closet for hanging clothes and no window coverings in the bedrooms. At the end of the day we enjoyed our stay!"

"We couldn’t say enough about this property. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The inside was homey and the little extras was wonderful. "The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that."
