"Beds weren’t very comfortable. "

"They were short staffed so no rooms were available early and there was also no cook for breakfast the next morning. Also because they were short staffed we were not able to get the king suite which I paid extra for."

"Loved my stay here. The hotel has such a cool vibe, it’s effortlessly stylish without even trying. The staff, was, friendly, helpful, and the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve been upgraded to “favorite guest” status. And the location is great! Close to the light rail, so getting around was a breeze. All in all, a spot that makes traveling feel a little more fun."

"We arrived at the hotel thinking it might have been recently updated inside, but that definitely was not the case. The outside of the building was full of trash, and there was even vomit near the area where our room was located, which was really unpleasant to see when arriving. We specifically booked a non-smoking room, but the room smelled strongly like smoke as soon as we walked in. The king-size bed only came with three small pillows, which felt pretty inadequate, and the room was also lacking towels. The one positive thing I can say is that we did not encounter any bed bugs. However, the photos on this site do not accurately show what the hotel actually looks like in person. We stayed for two days while attending an event, and fortunately we were gone most of the day and only came back to the room to sleep."

"Affordable and convenient location to drive to downtown Kansas City. All (but one) front desk employees were wonderful. Had issues on two days with our key cards not working in the afternoons of our three day stay. The second time it stopped working we couldn’t find anyone at the front desk to let us in our room. "

"Great hotel. Clean room with very nice staff. Great for kids and families. We had a room with a nice view of the lake where the sun sets. They also have tables outside to enjoy food during nice weather. "
