"Always a unique and enjoyable experience. Wonderful staff.
It is in need of some TLC in areas, but you have to consider it is 700+ yeas old - so you have to make allowances. If you want sterile this is not the place. Give me character every time."
"We didn’t actually stay in the property as my fiancé had an accident and we had to rebook for 24/5/25. The owner was kind enough to let us change the dates. We look forward to our stay in may and will then review the property and hope it’s a lovely as the customer service, we have already been provided. "
"It’s a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish.
