"The house itself is a little outdated as far as interior, but was comfortable enough for our party of 5. A little on the smaller side inside, but kids enjoyed being steps away from the beach. However, the house is located on the public access part of the beach, so you have cars driving around on the beach in front of you. On either side of the house, were houses with private beach access, so no car access on either side of the house, which I would have preferred. However, communication with the owners was excellent! Check-in Instructions were easy to follow and access to the house was easy as well, and the kitchen was stocked very well. All in all, we truly enjoyed our stay, but next time we would prefer to spend a little extra money for a more updated home."

"Yearly trip to Galveston. Great location, away from town. Nice and quiet. Door was a little hard to get unlocked due to rust from the elements, but it didn’t affect us. Plenty of hot water for showers for 4. Would definitely book again."

"Let me start by saying it's all about the location! That was amazing! The house is very clean and beach chairs/toys provided.Now reality. The door lock is challenging to say the least but we did eventually get in. The beds and linens are TERRIBLE. We did have an issue with the shower/sink not draining and someone showed up within a timely manner to fix that. The tv situation is non existent. The bedroom tv's are maybe the size of a laptop screen. There is a letter on the fridge stating that you are accountable for remote controls and we never found all of them. The only tv that worked was in the main living room. The couch is comfortable but the other chairs are uncomfortable outdoor wicker chairs so not exactly living room furniture.There are DVD players but we didn't find movies or remotes to make any of that work. I reached out twice about the tv situation and never got help."
