Model Showroom Ready
This property looks like it is a model home, everything is perfect. The neutral colors are soothing, and the furnishings are top notch. The grounds are charming and well tucked away from Dry Creek as to not hear any occasional traffic. All communications by owner and property manager were cordial and professional. This is a keeper on my list of places to stay when in Healdsburg.

Perfect house for a getaway for two couples
We had a fantastic stay in early December, 2023. The house was clean and just as depicted in the listing, and it really was well stocked with everything you need, including firewood. Kimberly was very responsive and we so much appreciate her sharing her home with us, especially since we had a dog with us. We will rent again from her when we are in the area. No need to hesitate if you are looking for a place to stay near Healdsburg. There is even a country store down the road if you need prepared food, wine, groceries or a gift. Enjoy!

Gorgeous weekend in Healdsburg
Had a lovely weekend in wine country enjoying the fall colors and sunshine with dear friends. First Crush Cottage was perfect for two couples. The kitchen was well appointed for the preparation of simple meals and snacks, and we enjoyed coffee/wine/conversation together on the comfortable couch. We built a fire in the fireplace one evening, and It was warm enough to have brunch outside on the deck. Location is great. It's easy to get to the wineries, Dry Creek Market, and into town. We loved the charming property and will be back! Cheers!

Amazing wine country property
This home was perfect for our trip to Sonoma Wine Country. It was in very close proximity to several great wineries and very close to the town of Healdsburg as well. The backyard was magical with fantastic views and the home itself was well appointed and comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!

Summer at First Crush
We spent 4 weeks at First Crush and could not have been more pleased. The house is beautiful and well equipped. The location is convenient to downtown and to numerous wineries. The outside grounds offer several seating and eating areas and are surrounded by beautiful vineyards. Both the owner and her local property manager were immediately responsive to all our requests. And finally, Healdsburg has it all!

Great wine country house
The house was perfect. Great weeklong stay. We had 2 couples and really enjoyed it. Loved the outdoor firepit which we used every night. Cooked in every night and the kitchen was well stocked and the back porch grill was nice to have. The property manager was very responsive when we ran out of propane one time. She was there in an hour. Loved it and hated to leave. Would definately book again.

A weekend of wine and jazz in lovely Healdsburg
An amazing house with all the amenities of your own home, including the best toiletries. A fresh herb garden right outside the kitchen door, beautiful roses surround the property and an amazing bottle of wine to compliment our evening meal. The added bonus of the complimentary wine tasting at Lambert Bridge was the the cherry on top. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Healdsburg.

Memorial Day in Wine Country
My fiancé, parents, and I were in town for a wedding. This is a lovely property. My mom and fiancé could not get over how cute it is. The host and property manager are very responsive and easy to communicate with. If you are in the Healdsburg area I would highly recommend this place! The free wine tasting at Lambert Bridge is an added bonus!

Excellent Home for Visiting Sonoma County
The house has been wonderfully remodeled into a 5-star accommodation. It is centrally located for Sonoma County excursions and very near Napa Valley. It has a rural feel, even though stores and restaurants are a short drive away. The house is very comfortable and also has many seating and dining areas outside. If you want to cook, the kitchen is supplied with all of the cooking utensils needed. There is also a high-end gas grill outdoors.

Simply Lovely
This is a terrific place. A vineyard dream, oriented to the back. Street in front is busy; just a note. Again, though the front yard is huge and gorgeous, the back is heaven. Host and property manager, stellar. I couldn't say more. Enjoy!

Beautiful and cozy
We had a wonderful weekend at the First Crush Cottage! The communication with Kimberly was excellent! She answered all my questions very quickly. The cottage is beautiful, clean and cozy. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or a family. Everything is as pictured. The yards are lovely and the views of the vineyard and hills are breathtaking. We also really enjoyed our tasting at Lambert Bridge. What a fabulous bonus. We loved the location. It’s close to all the wineries, yet close to town. Yearly wine country trip. Finally back after Covid
Had a great time in wine country as always. The cottage is a perfect location for those who want to concentrate on Dry Creek wineries, be close to Healdsburg for meals or activities and is also great proximity to Santa Rosa and Sebastopol. We tend to do a bit of it all during our week stays so really enjoyed this charming house and the convenience it provides us! My husband and I stayed with my parents and it is a perfect set up for two couples. I would highly recommend First Crish Cottage!

Charming wine country cottage
This house was lovely! The inside had everything you needed, and the outside gardens, firepit, and seating areas were perfect! Kitchen was extremely well-appointed. Just minutes away from downtown Healdsburg and walking distance to several wineries and lunch spots, why stay anywhere else? So peaceful and relaxing. Well furnished and stylish! Loved it.

Perfect Cottage for Winery Visits!
We absolutely loved the location of this home as it is within close proximity to many outstanding wineries. Views of hillsides and even their own rose gardens and grapevines out back are so pleasant to see and make a perfect vibe for your trip. Cottage is well-outfitted, nicely decorated and cozy but nicely suited to 4 people.

30 Days in Paradise
We lived in Sonoma County for 19 years before relocating to Florida. We spend a month at the cottage to reconnect with friends and family. Crush Cottage was the perfect home for us. We spent every evening enjoying the incredible views, the firepit, the vines and the garden. The amenities are first class and the kitchen is truly a "chef's kitchen". Crushing On Our Healdsburg Stay!
My mother, fiancé, puppy, and I tasted the romance of wine country over 4 nights at the First Crush Cottage, and found ourselves romanced by the authentic accoutrement one would imagine in a vineyard lined, zinfandel, baguette, and fresh cheese picnic daydream. The First Crush is more than a home in the wine country, it's a transcendence to a place sublimely isolated from the haste and pressures of daily life. Upon arrival we were greeted by sweeping lawns with delicately choreographed garden landscaping, highlighted with fragrant roses and a bountiful apple tree. Inside we were greeted by a complimentary bottle of wine which we immediately popped open and enjoyed on the spacious deck while taking in serene views of home grown vines, a vegetable garden, and idyllic hills just a short distance off. Over the next several days we enjoyed morning coffee and sunset aperitifs outside amongst the several cozy spots arranged about the property. Afternoons were spent exploring nearby wineries, hiking, and gandering the downtown boutiques. A highlight of the stay was the generously included private tasting at nearby Lambert Bridge Winery. Do not miss this. This boutique winery only produces small batches selectively sold directly to consumers. We leisurely enjoyed tasting their distinct creations while sitting out on a floral canopoied deck which overlooked sculpted gardens and vineyards stretching off to the horizon. For viticulture enthusiasts, First Crush is located directly in the the Dry Creek Valley AVA which is known for producing exceptional Zinfandels and Cabrinets. Plenty of local information was offered for our stay along with all we needed to relax and enjoy the home. The host is extra conscientious and responded to a minor inquiry almost immediately. We appreciated that level of interest devoted to the enjoyment of our stay. Everything was comfortable easy at First Crush. Along with country serenity, relaxed locals, and abundant things to do, we came away refreshed and happy. All was perfect. For anyone looking to get away and enjoy the wine country, we highly recommend staying at First Crush. It's worth it!

Lovely cottage in the heart of the Dry Creek valley
We really enjoyed our week long stay. We wanted to escape the fog of San Francisco and it was fun to be in the sun in the beautiful wine country. And we got a lot of sunny warm weather! There were many great things about the house and also a few difficult things that may be true just for us. Pros: --The house is charming and beautifully decorated. Wonderful linens, cookware, outdoor furniture, very comfortable beds, and large beautiful bathrooms. —The rose gardens, small vineyard and veggie garden were so lovely! We used the basil and peppers for a meal or two! —We loved walking up to the Dry Creek general store for breakfast some days and lunch other days. —The wine tasting at Lambert Bridge was special and fun. Cons: —We brought our golden retriever and she has a nose on her. There is no fence in the front yard and the cottage is right on Dry Creek road—which has lots of cars and I high speed limit. I just couldn’t relax with my dog being outside without being with her, which was a little limiting. —The house doesn’t get a lot of sun light. And we worked many of the days we were there. It was a little hard being inside (even though beautifully decorated) without a lot of light. There also wasn’t any desks to work on. So my husband used the cute round table in the kitchen, and I made a desk out of the bed in one of the bedrooms. It worked but wasn’t that comfortable.

First Crush is perfection!
The house has everything you could possibly want. The view is breathtaking. I woke up each morning having coffee outside on the sofa nestled under wisteria, overlooking roses and grapevines. My family and I enjoyed the short walk to the famous Dry Creek General Store for their scrumptious breakfast burritos. The town of Healdsburg is only a 7 minute drive away. There are wineries within walking distance. Kimberly, the owner, has made sure every detail of the house is top notch. From the appliances, the cookware, bathroom amenities and more, you will not be disappointed. The front and back yards are beautiful. I picked blood oranges, basil, cilantro, chives, mint and more! Hopefully you will be here when the garden is bountiful as well. You will leave here feeling as if you are leaving your home. Do not hesitate to book it, if it is available! Navas Family-Dallas Texas

Thanksgiving Staycation
We live in the Bay Area and often make a day trip to wine country (Healdsburg), this time we decided to stay for the weekend and live like locals. We booked First Crush Cottage, location was ideal, prime location to wineries and downtown. A garden home in the wine country!
We arrived on a warm and sunny evening in October after driving up from SF. The outdoor fire pit, verdant garden with vineyards surrounding, drew us outside immediately. It was just beautiful to experience the light at sunset. The house was comfy and very well located to downtown and other nearby Dry Creek valley vineyards and sights. This is a pleasant space that feels authentic and is great for a relaxing holiday.

Loved Staying at First Crush Cottage!
An immaculate home in a perfect location to Healdsburg, Ca and wine country. Patricia was an excellent property manager and attentive to our needs. We cannot say enough about this property. The owners have excellent taste, the home has everything you need and we are sad to be leaving after a month! Hope we can return. Our dog, Gonzo, wants to book it now for next year! He loved the yard and enjoyed exploring the property. Plus we enjoyed fresh homegrown tomatoes, basil and a few strawberries! Yum!

Perfect weekend in the Dry Creek Valley
This was our second stay in the First Crush Cottage with good friends from Washington. The property is comfortable, well-appointed, and perfectly situated for exploring the Dry Creek, Russian River, and Alexander Valley wineries. Perfect cottage in wine country
We loved our visit to the first crush cottage. It’s located conveniently on Dry Creek road right near downtown and close to many of the dry creek wineries. The place was clean and perfect size for myself, boyfriend and our little puppy. The front and back yards are beautifully landscaped and we had multiple meals out on the back porch! We had such a great time staying this cottage! House is well decorated and feel so warm and invited. The owner, Kimberly recommended few places to go and see. They are all great recommendations! Upon our arrival, There were fresh roses and a bottle of wine on the table. The wine was so good I asked Kimberly where to get it. The roses were from the garden and the wine was from their own back yard vineyard!!! How awesome is that!? Kimberly replied our questions so quickly and felt welcome. The house has everything you need and more. Our stay was beyond our expectation! My family including our dog enjoyed so much! We definitely would love to come back here again!! Perfect Cottage
Exceeded expectations on all levels- impeccably decorated, well-stocked, and the bed was so comfortable. The attention to detail highlights the thoughtfulness of Kimberly who was absolutely fantastic to work with- super responsive and accommodating. The outdoor space was equally as nice between the hammock, fire pit and dining area. We started our day with coffee and ended with a bottle of wine overlooking the beautiful view in the backyard. We will stay here every time for our future trips! Thank you Kimberly for sharing your beautiful home!

Very clean, comfortable and convenient location if you have a car. Good starting point for biking. Well equipped and everything works. Pleasant indoor and outdoor spaces. This was our second stay and would be happy to return.

Lovely wine stay.

Two Couples Weekend Trip to Healdsburg
The First Crush Cottage exceeded our expectations and was the perfect place for two couples to enjoy a weekend trip to Sonoma/Healdsburg. The location is perfect on Dry Creek Road. House is so well put together, a beautiful porch and garden. So peaceful to relax after a day tasting in the area. Highly recommend.

Loved the property!
We were a couple and one dog. Kimberly’s house was perfect and felt like home. The outside is beautiful as well. Great communication from owner and manager, super prompt and kind.. Dog park and town within 5 miles. We love to walk everywhere but this house is on a busy road so we could not walk from our house anywhere but you can always hop on a bike!!
