The children especially enjoyed the playground just across from the back garden. Our only disappointment was that the listing said there was a hot tub, but that must have been an error. All in all a great stay!"

"The house was comfortable and the fact the owners live next door makes it easy to sort out any problems that do occur. It is in a rather remote location so it is very peaceful but going anywhere requires a car trip. If you are tall (I am 1.90m) you have to be careful of the low doorways on which I banged my head several times. "Where to begin, think I may run out of superlatives! Our Sheldon Cottage was the most wonderful place to spend 4 days. The view alone was priceless. Steve and Hazel have designed the cottage to the highest possible standard and it has everything one could possibly need. It is wonderfully equipped for anyone with a disability, a wheelchair can easily whizz around all the accommodation. We loved the wonderful notices in the cottage, all suggestions rather than orders, all so gentle. Very luxurious...

Sparkling clean and an excellent 'goodies' pack.Good restaurants within 20 minute drive and an very good pub a short walk away in the village. Most of the Peak District attractions and walks within a 35 minute drive. Could not fault the property or its location."
