Nestled in the 4-season Masthope Mountain Community, our three level home is a 3BR 2BA, comfy home for 8-9 people to gather, enjoy the amenities, play games, watch movies by a fireplace and explore the outdoors. Amenities abound within 5 min: lake with beach, 2 pools, pickleball, tennis, fitness center, restaurant & bar. We are within a 10 min. drive from a luxury spa and a winery. The Masthope Mountain Community is a 2.5 hour drive from NYC and 3.5 from Philly. It is nestled in the Northeast Poconos, Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River area. There are 1,700 single family homes with a mix of full-time and part-time residents. The Community offers many amenities such as a boat friendly lake with a beach, a ski and tubing mountain, hiking trails, two large pools, fitness center (with yoga classes and a massage therapist), trail horseback riding, tennis and pickleball courts, The Summit Restaurant at Masthope, Tiki bar, a marketplace for sandwiches and basic needs and so much more! If you're seeking a day at the spa or play golf, head over to the Woodloch Resort , 10 min. away. We will assign you a temporary entry code for the front door smart lock. The house has a 36" wide by 6' ramp for easy access. There's also a second door for ground level entry. Indoors: Enjoy a newly renovated 3 level house with 3BR, 2 bath, rec room, fully stocked kitchen. The view of the backyard will make you feel like you are in a large tree house overlooking a pond. Bedroom 1 on the main floor: King bed Bedroom 2 "The Pier Room" on 2nd floor: King bed Bedroom 3 "Exploration Room" on 2nd floor: Bunk with a twin over a full + twin trundle bed. The room is large therefore we squeezed in another Queen bed. We can easily accommodate 8 people depending on sleeping arrangements. The large windows and the elevated deck with glass railing will let you absorb nature's calming effect and help destress you. Open floor plan that allows everyone in the kitchen and living room to enjoy the wood burning fireplace. 3 Season Room: with fresh pine walls. This is another sweet spot to enjoy a book or for morning coffee with your friends and family. Rec Room: The fun filled, ground level, recreation room to play ping-pong, pool, foosball, darts, board games and watch movies on a large screen TV. The Nook: a unique child friendly space where they like to hide and switch the LED light colors. Outdoors: Among others, our abundant property amenities are: A firepit overlooking the wooded property Two paddleboards One kayak Fishing rods (need a permit to fish) Pickleball and tennis racquets BBQ grill with propane Masthope Community Amenities, all within a 5 min. drive: The Masthope Mountain Community amenities will make you feel like you are in a resort. Daily renters amenity passes must be purchased at the POC office - $10 per person for the use of the two pools, beach access at the lake with paddle boats and kayaks, fitness center, mini golf and horseback riding. Please note that certain restrictions apply for Holiday weekends. In the winter, lift tickets for skiing, snowboarding and tubing must be purchased separately. You will be within 5 min. drive from the Lodge where there's The Summit restaurant with a large bar, an arcade and the Marketplace for sandwiches and more. Next to the Lodge is our Pool Complex which has two pools. One has slides and a splash pad for children. The Community also has a fitness center, horse stables with a petting zoo, park by the Delaware River, basketball, volleyball, tennis and pickleball courts, mini golf, bocci ball, shuffleboard just to name a few. Visit the Masthope .org website for more information and seasonal hours of operation. You will need a car to get to Masthope and get around the Community. You will be sharing the Community's roads with ATVs, UTVs, golf carts. Please note that the speed limit in the Community is 25 mph. We have a large driveway however guests can only park a max. of 4 cars during the night. This is mandated by our Community and Township ordinance. No street parking. There is no central air conditioning however, there's one powerful AC unit for the main floor open space, and a window unit in each bedroom. Open windows often work well to let the cool breeze from the pond flow through the house. For security reasons, there are two exterior security cameras: one above the front staircase pointing at the driveway and the doorbell next to the front door. For the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit, we supply a limited amount of wood based on your stay. Please note that local fire bans can be mandated by our local fire dept. This home has something for everyone. As a nature lover, my favorite aspects were the gorgeous view and the wildlife that I saw right on the property - deer, chipmunks, toads, and hummingbirds. For my young boys, the home itself - which boasts bunk beds, a ping-pong table, foosball, a wii, and a kids' fridge and nook - was the draw. Accessibility was also important for our family as we brought my elderly mother along. She was able to stay in a first-floor bedroom and had access to the adjacent first-floor bathroom. She could also access the 3-season room and the outdoor balcony as well as the main kitchen and living area. The house was clean, and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Lastly, we enjoyed many of the community's amenities - the market, restaurant, playground, tennis courts, and pools. The home was a perfect fit for us, and we'll definitely be back! ##### Jeanette H.
