"The property was off the beaten track which was nice for noice and traffic. The amenities were wonderful. Our king room was more like a condo/ cottage than a hotel room. The property is tastefully landscaped and we had a back door that led to open space with chairs and fire pit. Wood and matches were also supplied. The bed was comfortable and nice towels were in the bath. Kitchen was fully furnished and a nice size table and sofa added extra comfort. There was a nice open space to gather and play cornhole. Another added feature we didn’t expect was the entrance to a Trailhead for Promised Land forest, which we explored. High tech lights and heated bathroom floor was something we had not experienced in other places. Highly recommend a visit, not your average hotel."

"Absolutely amazing little hidden gem in the Poconos! Perfect location, quiet area, and the cabin was wonderful. Close to many areas for excursions like the Promised Land State Park, and only about an hour from Jim Thorpe! Perfect romantic getaway and the host was so accommodating and provided us with a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!"

"We really appreciated the shuttle to take us to the Indian Ladder Falls trail head. Great place to go for walks all over the property. Only complaint is that the A/C in the room kicked on very noisily. Light sleeper (me) might have trouble sleeping through it. Also spied a bug that ran behind the bed."

"We had a great summer vacation with the kids. My husband was able to fish the pond on the red canoe while I took the kids around the Poconos. House had everything we needed; grill, fire pit for s'mores, multiple places to sit outside and look at the pond. (heads up bring ketchup, syrup, etc).We were comfortable and there weren't any neighbors there during the week so super quiet. We went to Costas Family Park, the Claws and Paws Zoo and a special hidden swimming lake where we saw a bald eagle. We also had lunch at Log Tavern Brewery which is right by the house and was a great find."

"Beautiful and well kept home in a peaceful setting with a responsive host. It’s helpful to get there before dark because the last part of the trip involves a very short drive through a non paved wooded area. The rooms were clean and the home had with lots of features that everyone enjoyed, especially the game room and outside fire pit. We didn’t stay long enough to fit a movie night in our stay but the movie room downstairs looked awesome too."

"I didn’t think places like that still existed. I felt like a time traveler 30 or 40 years back in time. The room had a REAL key and an old fashioned coffee maker with the big glass pot. I didn’t use it but it was definitely remarkable. The room was so tiny, I’d say it is barely suited for one person. Overall, it was so charming, I’d consider to stay there if ever in the area again."

"My family had a wonderful trip. My 43 year old brother was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and this was a whole family get away to all spend time together. The place was perfect for everyone who came. A few is the pinball machines didn’t function properly but no one sweat it. There was a ton of fun to be had. Thanks for sharing your home wig my family and me. A trip we’ll all remember forever."

"Looking forward to spending many more anniversaries here! We loved the seclusion and privacy. With the exception of the baby foxes and mother and baby deer that visited throughout our stay. Absolutely would suggest to ANYONE!"
