"The Cottage was lovely the rooms were very clean, however the main rd where it is situated was very busy in the early hours of the morning but that wouldn’t put ourselves from going back or recommending."

"Incredible location for walking and enjoying swaledale. House is comfortable and well provisioned, fantastic host. Whole place could do with a deep clean though and the mattress is knackered 😂 We had a great time"

"Very welcoming. Nice touch with the provisions and card. Very clean and spacious rooms. Excellent shower, well equipped kitchen, including dishwasher (and tablets)Located at the top of a very steep hill, so may not be suitable for all. Just a short walk to town centre. Spar and chippy 2 minutes away. Only criticism is that one of the double mattresses sunk in the middle. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and would certainly consider coming back again."
