Second Nature Southampton Hometel

"Boutique type hotel 10 minutes walk to cruise terminal 46 Southhampton. Excellent location opposite Queens Park, quiet. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen facilities, air con and bathroom. Slept well. Friendly staff although some are quite young and inexperienced. Slight negatives- tv reception not very good as stations dropped out, tv remote was filthy so I cleaned it myself, stairwell didn't seem to be cleaned in the 2 nights I was there. Didn't eat at the cafe inside hotel as I found a couple of nice ones nearby. Overall a good place to stay as rates quite high in Southampton."

"VERY BUSY PLACE, WITH THE GYM AND SPORTS FACILTIES FOR LOCALS OR GUESTS. FOOD THE SAME AS IN EVERY VILLAGE INN. GOOD SELECTION. AIR CON AND LARGE TV, GOOD SHOWER ETC. RECOMMENDED"

"Hotel full of character, undergoing renovation in places but improvements have been made since we were last there. Dinner service was very good and if the weather’s nice it has a lovely patio area out back for dinner and a drink. Shame the pool was closed though."
