"Just came back from a 3 night stay and I can highly recommend it. We booked the room with the king size bed in the old part of the building. We did have to get up a small flight of stairs which also had another mini set of stairs inside the room which made it very quirky but might not be great for the older folk. We didn't have aircon in our room and it was super hot and I imagine it's because it's a grade 2 listed building but they did provide a large fan which did help. We booked the room with breakfast included but just like most of the reviews that I had already seen this was very hit and miss. Full English was available but came out luke warm and not very well presented, so ended up opting for other options instead. The spa was lovely, like I've already mentioned it was very hot at the time of our stay so made full use of the sun loungers. It was very much like a holiday abroad little dip in the pool to return to the sunbed to dry out, sunbathe and read a book. It was Perfect! Even tried to book another night as we didn't want to leave but they were fully booked."
