Staff was very friendly, room was comfortable, good breakfast. Overall, a very positive experience, especially since I was stopping in the middle of a long trip, and really needed the rest after a long drive.

Hotel under construction 3/17/18

Hotel is under construction, contractors were banging and yelling to each other in the hallway, hotel staff was not fully trained, computer system wasn't working correctly. I stayed only 2 hours and decided to check out because I couldn't get any sleep. Desk staff said they would still have to charge me full price. The hotel should really be closed until they finish construction.

Wait for it ....

Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Close the hotel for a few days and finish the lobby renovations.
I have given a bad review, more because of the situation when we arrived, rather than what you can expect in the future. We booked a Hampton Inn and first of all couldn't find it. We went up to the Holiday Inn Express only to find out they had changed the signs and it was the last day for Hampton Inn. They were renovating the lobby which was a complete disaster and that was also the location of the breakfast in the morning. The room was fine, breakfast was decent and I am sure it will be fine once renovated. It looks like they are renovating the entire hotel so as I said "Wait for it". I would not recommend it now.

Trip to New England

Pros: Very comfortable and wonderful staff...very helpful
Cons: finish the repairs to dinning area
Location: Was vising a nearby college
The accommodations and staff were excellent. the only issue is the hotel did not have a full breakfast as that are was under going renovations. However, the breakfast that was provided was fantastic. The staff especially impressed me. A gentlemen spilled a large glass of juice by the elevator and the women running to the breakfast took care of the sticky mess super fast without any hassle to the gentlemen who spilled the juice. She was super helpful and kind Just a wonderful experience......

Easy on-off access to the highway with great restaurants within walking distance. Great service, great breakfast, just all around great stay! I will be back!!!

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Every single person on the hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly (I hope the Management praises them) I saw signs everywhere about excusing them for their appearance while remodeling but I never saw anything out of place on the main floor or the 3rd floor where we stayed. The Hotel is very clean. The breakfast was a typical buffet which didn't change at all during our 2 day stay if that matters to you. The location was great for our needs. Plenty to eat in the area, right off the highway and close to Hartford. I am a very picky person and usually critical of places we stay. My complaints: I wanted to check out in between my 2 day stay because I wasn't feeling well and the hotel said they could not help me because I booked at an online site. I called Hotels.com and they said if the hotel would not allow me to check out they could not cancel. I even asked both parties for a travel voucher for a future stay and they both said no. (not the hotels fault since it was clearly their policy just wish they would have accommodated us with a voucher for another Hampton Inn in the future) The morning we left the heater was making a loud noise and I heard another guest complain about the same thing. I think it had to do with the ridiculously cold temps (-8!) I also thought there was an indoor pool for the kids but there is not one here (my fault for not reading the Hotel amenities list.

My stay was wonderful, from check in, right through check out... Also one of the better breakfast bars I’ve enjoyed in awhile. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

Very comfortable and staff was very accommodating. They let my extended family visit together in the breakfast room in the evening.
