The hotel served its purpose. It's not a bad place but it's the little things that take away from the rating. The desk chair was broken in our room, the desk itself was very wobbly and not sturdy at all. In both cases it would have just taken a little attention to detail to fix. When we checked out, the woman at the desk didn't smile, say hello, say thanks for staying with us, etc. as we walked out the door right by her.
A couple of weeks ago we stayed at another Hampton inn in the same vicinity - the Hartford/Manchester hotel. The staff there were so friendly, the rooms were very clean and well maintained, and you just felt much more valued.
