"Our family of five stayed here for two nights before catching a flight from Gatwick. Our hosts were gracious and great communicators. The beds were comfortable, the entire property kept in great shape and very clean, and it was super convenient for getting to the airport as well as occupying ourselves while there. "I had a very nice stay here. Saati was very pleasant and helpful, and it was a quick ride from the airport. The building is very old (1574!), and the surrounding area was very pretty. There were some gnats in my room near the window; to be expected in a historical building. They did not negatively impact my stay at all. Mosquito nets are provided."

"My wife and I have been driving around the UK for 2 weeks and found The Tickled Trout to be the best we’ve had. Spotless, The Bed was soo comfortable, Great shower, and the Roast in the restaurant was amazing. We were greeted at check in by Charlie and his female off sider, who both came out to the car park and helped with the baggage. We were taken to our room and shown about. "3 of us stayed in the 3 single bed family room on a room only basis the room was extremely clean with en suite shower room. The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. The room also had doors out to a little patio area overlooking a pool with fish and a lawn beyond."

"Very clean and comfy stay. Provided breakfast for the morning which was a welcome treat. Great value for money. Could hear the road noise so would recommend ear plugs but was relatively minor. "

"Wow what a little gem of a hotel with restaurant. Room was amazing, modern, classic and Mediterranean feel in heart of a Kent village. If you get room 8 or 9 you won’t be disappointed. Restaurant food was top notch if a little pricy and the included breakfast was also lovely in quality and flavour. Would pick over a chain hotel any day especially as location has few choices for accommodation."

"Booked a triple room for 3 male adults , tried giving us a double bed with a pull out bed , and he said i booked the incorrect room even though my booking confirmation states 3 adults and 3 single beds ,asked for another pull out bed or a quilt so 1 lad could sleep on the floor and they said no and if we dont like it leave , I am absolutely disgusted with the male receptionist , Worst so called hotel ever been to"
