"We are regular travelers to BI and have always loved the Surf Hotel (BI BH) but never stayed until this time. Everything about the service exceeded expectations. Our room was ready, the online check in expedited our process. The room was immaculate, fabulous shower (which you can almost never say on the Block) - super friendly bartenders, and the guy setting up beach side umbrellas and chairs was incredible in 96 degree heat. The food was great, the check out was super easy- we will always come back. "

"We've stayed at this property several times. It's very clean, has nice helpful staff and it is convenient to Newport. They also have a nice pool and a free breakfast which is pretty good. The Applebees attached is not the best restaurant in terms of consistency and staffing which is unfortunate considering the location. Also, the hotel will charge you for a "safe" fee so if you don't use the safe while you stay there, you can go to the front desk and they will take the charges off for you."

"WE WERE THERE FOR 3 DAYS FOR A BEACH WEDDING. WE HAD A 3RD FLOOR ROOM ON THE GOLF COURSE SIDE. SHADY ALL AFTERNOON ON OUR BALCONY!!! HAD FUN WITH THE GOLFERS AS WE COULD TELL THEM EXACTLY WHERE THEIR BALL WAS IN THE ROUGH!!!! AC WASN'T GREAT AND WE CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND SOMEONE WAS THERE WITHIN 5 MINUTES TO TAKE CARE OF IT. POOL AREA HAS TABLES, UMBRELLAS AND LOUNGE CHAIRS. VENICE RESTAURANT NEXT DOOR WAS FANTASTIC. A+ ALL AROUND."
