"The home feels excluded from everything but the host made it feel like you were welcome to the community. If you wish to hear the waves crash on the rocks and enjoy a perfect sunrise (weather permitting) then Saul's place is the spot to be at on your getaway from the norm. "Perfect location along the beautiful Hamakua Coast! So lush and green. We can not stayed one night but right away I could tell this would be a good place to use as home base for a longer stay. The unit was perfectly appointed and the patio very relaxing with great views. The common area looks excellent, although we didn’t use. Some interesting books I would have liked to sit around and read. Short stay but I liked it. "

"The three of us were very comfortable in suite 1 with the little twin window bed. The sound of the ocean drowned out the songs of the coqui frogs. It was a great location to see the sights on the Hilo side. The breakfast was amazing: fresh fruit, French toast or coconut pancakes, eggs to order, and juice. They have a little cabinet with first aid items and extra sunscreen.The hosts were caring and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend this place!!!"

"My husband, five year old and I stayed here for 3 days. We really enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful open floor plan, artistic decor with big slider windows leading out to the patio. At night there was a wonderful cross breeze and sounds of geckos and coqui frogs floating on that breeze. It was in a convenient spot, not directly in town but close enough to go out for food, drinks, beaches, etc. The owners were kind and quiet. Their dog was such a sweetheart, our daughter loved the encounters...

"My husband and I stayed there for four nights and we had the most wonderful time there. Every morning was a different type of fresh cut fruit, mostly grown in the property and home bake goods. It was delicious! The room was small but comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for. The property and location was great too. It was a 10 minutes walk to rainbow falls and 5 minutes drive to downtown Hilo. "

"Instead of driving home late we wanted a place to stay after going to the theater in Hilo. Dolphin Bay Hotel was perfect. Within walking distance to the theater, shops and restaurants made it a very convenient option. Our room and the entire area is very clean. Our room was airy and comfortable. Our host even upgraded at no extra charge. There was a complete kitchen and the shower and bath tub were great. The grounds are kept beautifully, staff were very friendly and helpful - we felt aloha from everyone. We will be back."
