"We had a great stay. Staff were wonderful, the room perfect and the evening meal excellent. The buffet breakfast was disappointing. Poor quality ingredients which felt they were chosen on being "cheap" which was a shame. The management team should try the breakfast and ask if they would be satisfied especially if they had paid more than £300 for B&B for one night."

"The property looked like a castle! It was outside of town and very secluded yet easy to get there. We actually stayed in apartments next to the main house which were very large (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a washing machine in our unit). The beds were very comfortable as well. You can tell that they were renovating, because a couple things did not work (a key, the phone) and a piece of wood under the sink fell off on its own. They were all extremely kind and professional, though; we felt extra taken care of by the manager who brought us deserts making us very happy that evening! The breakfast was fantastic, and the person in charge of seating us and taking care of us was the kindest ever. He went above and beyond! We would definitely stay here again!"

"1 night stay as a family of 4. (2 adults, 3.5 year old and 15 month old) At first I was a little reluctant to book, after seeing some bad reviews, but I'm glad I looked past them. The room was lovely! The perfect set up for what we wanted. We came away for my husbands 30th birthday and the location was a good mid point stay between where we were going over 2 days. The hotel even set up a low camp bed for our youngest, which saved us lugging her travel cot into the room. It was quite warm in the room and only a small desk fan available. We were on the 2nd floor and had to sleep with the windows all fully open and even then the children were unsettled. Luckily there is a park just around the corner, so we went for an early norning walk there. Breakfast was lovely! Staff were all friendly and chatty. We also sat in the garden for a drink in the evening, it was really nice and cool down there. The room was clean and well presented. Tea coffee and biscuits in the room. There was even a little fridge, perfect to store our daughters milk! We will definitely return if we head that way again. Thank you for a lovely stay!! "
