The property is around an 8min walk from the end of the Hakone Pass cablecar and the ropeway connection. It rained most of our stay but there is a nice outdoor table set and a lot of japanese anime comics (in Japanese) in a lovely takana room with bean bags. Kitchen is well stocked except i couldnt find a knife but theres a lot of plates, bowls etc etc. The bathtub was amazing on the cold days. Would def recommend for larger groups or families in need of stretching their legs a little! The only other thing to note is that it gets pretty quiet around the area so have a dining plan prepared for arrival. You are greeted by a can of pesticide, must walk up a staircase that is clearly a hazard, suffer a bath that doesn't work, and a refrigerator full of used condiments. Don't worry, you will receive snarky emails from the owner telling you just how many towels you're allowed to use while you're there. If you do happen to make it up the stair case without it falling down, don't plan on sleeping. There is a cat who will meow incessantly at your window throughout the night. The owners claim that it's a stray cat, though there is cat food inside the property. We tried communicating with the property owner, but we're treated as though we were the fools who are banking their vacation house.
