It's a little far of a walk from the nearest Hachiōji station, but on weekends there's a bus that can drop you off pretty close to this hotel and vice versa. However on Weekdays I don't believe that's the case so you'll have to walk the whole way to the station most likely, so heads up if you're traveling in summer. The hotel was pretty nice, the room is a bit small if you get a single room but it's enough for a day or two stay. Walls are a little thin so you might hear your neighbors. The price was good, especially because I booked it last minute. The breakfast buffet was also quite affordable and pretty good (the food was at convenience store quality, but in Japan that means it wasn't bad at all). The staff had some ability to use English and I had some Japanese, so communication was fine, but I am not sure how it would be if you had no Japanese. However, the room itself was a bit uncomfortable. The pillows are not soft at all and the room was a bit cramped for two people. I have stayed in other budget hotels and the layout of the room was a little better. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from Hachioji station, which isn't too bad, but the area around Hachioji is pretty sketchy at night.
