Takao Great location if you want to get an early start on Mt. Takao. Beds were much harder than expected but we only stayed one night and were tired after a long trip so it didn't impact us too much. Surprised by how large the room was (rented the family room/unit). They sell face towels for ¥330 at the counter but they are hopeless for showering. The cafe/bar was closed on Friday night (private hire in the day but didn’t open in the evening). There is plenty of mentions online that the cafe opens for breakfast at 7 AM. I discovered on Saturday morning that they don’t do any food until 11 AM. Takaosanguchi is hopeless for food, especially after 5 PM and before 10 AM, so you will have to rely on convenience stores.
