"Arrived late round 8.00 at night, told that we would get a free upgrade, well the room was very nice but very small. Goodness knows what an original room was like, as much smaller room would be hard to imagine. Lovely bathroom though."

"It's just very consistently a comfortable and clean hotel to stay in when away on business."

"The staff were so accommodating and really friendly and the rooms were ideal for a one night stay. What would be great though is having a few more bits in the room to wash up if you use any of the crockery/cutlery (like washing up liquid and a tea towel) otherwise you have dirty crockery lying around and you have to use the bathroom towels to dry them. Just a small thing, but sometimes makes a big difference!"

"Great value for any stay in Chester. Just on the edge of the city so your are no more than a few minutes walk from the centre. Hotel has the benefit of parking spaces. Staff were excellent and so friendly. Ovall look of the hotel good but a few signs of aging. Spa nice enought and the addition of a buffet breakfast makes it a decent hotel. "
