Hike along the scenic Tamar Valley trails where Cornwall meets Devon, spotting historic mining remnants along the riverbanks. Rent canoes to paddle the peaceful River Tamar or visit nearby Cotehele House with its beautiful Tudor gardens and working watermill.
Unique for this B&B is the hospitality of Iain and Jack. They make for you a delicious breakfast every morning and serve it in their kitchen. In the evening you can read a book in their superb living room. So many details in their house. A pleasure to see around. The bedroom and bathroom are very clean.

Ever so friendly, the owner showed me around, and then the room was mine, everything I needed was there .
What a wonderful service, somewhere lovely to sleep at short notice.
I had a great nights sleep,, so good that I overslept.

Excellent location, perfect for solo travellers. The room and common areas were spotless, and Judy, the hostess, was welcoming and helpful and cooked a mean breakfast. Luggage storage was provided, which is always appreciated. Would highly recommend this guest house for anyone visiting Plymouth.

Clean and quiet, very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even when I’d asked about a bowling club in Modbury that a family member used, the lovely bar staff said she’d find out for me.
Fantastic full English with great sausages. Nothing seemed too much trouble
Thanks for a great stay at a difficult time.
