Best beach house!

We had an amazing time at this beach house. The house was the most clean and well stocked home we have ever rented, and the location was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the beach views from the balcony and being able to go down to the beach easily multiple times each day. The house was set up perfectly for our family (2 adults, 1 teen, 2 grandparents) because the master was on one side and the other two bedrooms on the opposite side. We loved everything about this house and can't wait to go back.

My parents, me and my son all stayed here to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Even with the rain from the Tropical Storm, the view from this property was beautiful. Becky was such a sweet host, she replied quickly when we had questions and even reached out to check after the storm. The beach is practically a private one and the house was truly so nice and clean!

Wow View!

We stayed for 5 days and was very pleased with this house. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the gorgeous view of the beach from the living room. Everything was spotless and the layout of the home was perfect for our group of 6 adults with plenty of room and privacy. We loved sitting on the deck listening to the waves and there is only a few steps to the beach via a small private path. The house is a short drive to restaurants, shopping, and many activities. We highly recommend it and are already talking about renting this place in the future.

We absolutely loved this oceanfront home and would love to book it again! It is located in the nicest part of Gulf Shores with panoramic views of the ocean from the back and beautiful views of the bay in the front. The house has its own, large private beach just steps away! The interior of the home was absolutely beautiful and setup for cooking. Becky the property manager was the best hostess. Nice Relaxing Stay

We decided to try the Gulf Coast over the Atlantic this year. The water was warmer, the weather was a bit warmer, and the sand was a little softer. The beach house was on the less populated end of Gulf Shores Beach and we definitely had lots and lots of beach space to ourselves. Aside from the Hangout Festival congestion in the main beach area, it was an overall relaxing time. 😎

Great beach house

Everything about our stay was great, including the ease of check-in, the spacious house with awesome views and huge deck, and especially the best location with uncrowded beach. It was also nice to see they had a shed with beach gear for renters to borrow. The open kitchen has lovely views and is well stocked to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable, and the cleverly added 1/4 bathroom was helpful with multiple people staying. We spent most of our time while at the house outside on the deck. We loved the high top table, but my suggestion would be to add a large umbrella, perhaps along with another dining table that seats more people. The deck is in the sun most of the day.

Beautiful Property

We recently stayed at this beautiful home and had a fantastic time. Everything was perfect. The home was beautifully decorated and super clean. The property manager, Becky was wonderful to us and made sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The views from every room were stunning and we had the whole beach to ourselves all week. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to cook some meals on the nights we weren’t stuffing ourselves with tasty local shrimp at the many great restaurants nearby. It was the perfect location. We were all sad to leave, but we will definitely book this property again. Highly recommended!

Grandkids first beach trip!

We took my daughter, son in law and our 2 grandkids. Ages 3 and 8. The house was perfect. The family had one side of the house and we had the primary on the opposite side. It allows for privacy. The place was very clean. It looks like the pictures. Plenty of towels, blankets, beach toys, beach chairs, etc. Everything you need. Becky was a joy to work with. Instructions spell out the expectations so there is no confusion. Loved it.

Great Beach Vacation

This was our first visit to the Gulf Shores area and we feel like we lucked out in finding this home to stay at. It felt so easy just walking out over the sand dune to get to the beach. We never had to worry about lugging everything too far and never had to worry about too many people in the area. I also feel that we were lucky in the fact that we saw dolphins from the house and/or beach every day during our stay. It was a treat for us midlanders. Although it's kind of a drive getting places mostly because of summer traffic then anything else there are a ton of great options in the area for food. We had great communication from the owner. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Gulf Shores or Orange Beach.

Awesome Property

This is the second time we have stayed at Southern Palms. The kitchen is stocked with anything you will need to cook an easy breakfast or a 5-course dinner. The beds are comfortable and feel so good after a hard day at the beach. This is what everyone comes for. You can see and hear the gulf from the very large back deck. The beach is steps away over a short dune. And the best part it is almost deserted, except for the occasional walker. Unlike the huge crowds you will find closer to GS. Even though it is farther away from the hustle and bustle it is close enough that if you are sick of the beach or need a break it is an easy drive to hit some of the fantastic restaurants or do some souvenir Shopping.I would highly recommend this property The house, beach and managers are all great! So much, that we already booked our third stay for 2026!

Fantastic Views, Exquisite Home Away From Home

The views from the private ocean front deck are superb. Walk a short distance to a wide beach with white sand and return to the most comfortable home away from home one can find. If you like, shower in the master bath that provides a private window overlooking the gulf. Dress for dinner in the spacious master bedroom suite and take a short drive to an incredible selection of seafood restaurants. Or, if you fancy to eat at home, the best of chefs will immediately fall in love with the kitchen. Throughout your entire stay you will be challenged to be wanting for anything. If you can't enjoy this beach home with all of its uniqueness, then a beach vacation is not for you. My spouse, who is always ready to go home after a week at the beach said it best. "I could stay here for two months and love it every day."

Perfect beach getaway house

This house is phenomenal! We have been coming to Gulf Shores now for several years and have tried several different houses throughout our time, but this one is far and away the best we've ever stayed at. Property was pristine, spacious, and clean, but the absolute shining star is the host. Becky is super communicative, makes everything easy, and is incredibly friendly. She let us know ahead of time that we were able to check in early due to an early departure, and when I messaged her about trivial matters such as not being able to work the TV remote she was so prompt to respond and quickly solved the issue without making me feel silly. Perhaps most notably, when I messaged her about sand flies to ask if there were any tips she had, she not only recommended two different bug spray products but she placed the order from Walmart herself and had them delivered that same day to our door! This attention to detail is unmatched by any host I've interacted with before, and she did everything possible to make our trip as wonderful as it could be. The house itself is wonderful: the patio furniture outdoors is perfect for just relaxing with a book on the deck and listening to the ocean, and the kitchen is phenomenal. I can't say enough good things about this place and would recommend it to anyone!
