Beautiful stay close to the ocean

The property had a great location and good management. It was close to the beach as well. My only complaint is small but the condo is a bit dated The microwave, fridge, and vacuum could use some updating. The property owner was easy to work with and quick to fix any concerns. We did have some issues with the key cards for indoor pools and gyms. Several other guests at the complex were also having issues too. The owner helped us get ours reprogrammed and then it worked. Overall a good stay for a larger group!

Long Weekend Getaway

We had the perfect weekend. There were so many things to do in the area! We enjoyed an afternoon at the Annual Shrimp Festival, another day was spent at the beach, and before we left to come home we even had time to tour the Fort Morgan Historic Site. The resort was extremely clean, everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be returning! The host made everything so easy!

Family drove in from Texas and we drove from Georgia to be together for Christmas. We found this unit as pictured and as descibed. This unit was great! Super clean, everything we needed. A beach view from the balcony too. We all agreed we would rent this unit again when we can.

Great Stay For My Family of 6

We had a great week here! There are several pools on site and the beach is a short walk away! The unit is on the 3rd floor but there is an elevator on the 1st floor! The kitchen is very small but there is a full size fridge. There are some basic cooking supplies. There is a laundry mat on the same floor, be aware there isn’t a washing machine and dryer in the unit. Overall we had a great stay!

Sweet 16 getaway

We took our 4 kids and 2 of our daughter’s friends with us to celebrate her turning 16, and doing some college tours. Loved the lack of traffic in Fort Morgan! Was expecting to have laundry in unit and was disappointed to find it was on property and had to pay additional for it. Security onsite was very on top of things. Other than that the stay was very enjoyable!

The pictures may be a little older as everything is a little more worn in person. 2/4 tvs do not work in the unit. Note that the coffee maker takes k-cups not filters if you plan to buy in advance. Amenities on property with all the pools were great for the kids. Close to the beach but a bit of a walk if you are taking coolers and chairs with you. Overall nice for the price.

Family beach time

The property was very nice. The 10 of us (4 adults and 6 kids under 17) had just enough room. When we arrived we discovered the new sofa did not include a sofa bed; however, the property manager promptly provided an air mattress that worked just perfectly. And has since updated the listing. The beach was a short walk from the condo and provided plenty of room for the guests. The property included a restaurant, ice cream and coffee shop all of which we enjoyed during our stay. Two things I would emphasize: 1. this property is very strict on parking passes only 2 for this unit and 2) Jackie was a pleasure to work with, she answered questions and resolved any problems promptly and followed up to be sure items were addressed timely.

- kitchen cabinet smells like a dead mouse and all the glasses smelled the same way. - Every single dish had to be washed before using due to the smell - Only one dish towel was interesting - The handrail on the stairs is sticky - One bed had dirt in it when we arrived - The lighting is extremely poor - Carpet it the loft was sticky and disgusting - Extra blankets were dirty - Towel racks are coming out of the wall and the drywall is in pitiful shape - Humidity was so high that nothing dried… it wasn’t humid outside. - Drains are missing and the sinks are gross with nasty caulk all around - This place is much smaller than we thought in reality. Pictures are deceiving. - Bring an air mattress because these mattresses are very old and a mess - Sliding door doesn’t open from the outside so don’t shut it all the way if you head out on the deck. - Complex is nice with a bunch of pools, hot tubs, pickleball / tennis courts. Walk to the beach was a little long but we were towards the back of the complex. You can see a little of the ocean from the balcony. Be prepared to drive 20-30 minutes for every meal and activity since there is nothing around.
