"Had a lovely couple of days in this cosy cottage. Spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, in a peaceful spot. Plenty of places to eat nearby, as well as local conveniences. Many thanks to Liz!"

"Excellent location, lovely staff and clean rooms with a great shower for post-hike/bike. The rooms were a little hot during the heatwave, even at night where the temperature outside was a good 10 degrees cooler than inside the room. Windows were not large enough to provide sufficient airflow I think The restaurant was not worth the price - there are plenty of fantastic, cheaper options in the nearby hathersage/hope area. The location is fantastic, with frequent buses and plenty of hikes. Bike rental was also great. A fair price and very relaxed check-in / check-out experience. Overall very good, would stay again."

"This was hands down the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and cheery. They made us feel at home and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The wait staff was exceptional as well. The food was excellent, the setting idyllic, and location walkable to The Chatsworth House! We could not wait to write a glowing review as we cannot recommend this hotel enough! We suggest you give your entire staff a raise as they were top notch and whoever hired them should be given a medal:)"
