Cairns Colonial Club Resort
8/10 Good
"The hotel was decent: clean, with friendly stuff and prompt housekeeping. It has a nice tropical garden. However, there is nothing spectacular as advertised. The layout is in a motel like style where your windows are facing the outdoor hallways. We had a room with two queen beds and there were 4 of us. We felt big crammed. The resort is quite big and there were a lot of people. We didn’t go to eat breakfast because of long lines and high prices."

"I had a wonderful stay. The food was delicious, beautiful marina view, which made every moment on the balcony more enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for premium location, great food and stunning waterfront views."

Green Island Resort

"Very busy with tourists from 9am to 4pm, but even then you can find quiet areas of beach around the back of the island. Outside those hours it's a quiet, secluded paradise. All the staff are fantastic and go beyond to make you feel welcomed and comfortable, food is good quality and reasonably priced. Plenty of things to do and snorkelling on the beach is fantastic, saw many tropical fish and turtles. The crocodile sanctuary and feeding show is a must, and each day is capped off with complimentary drinks on the beach while the sun sets. There is a fragrance of guano, but you get used to it. Overall, a highly recommended stay. "
