The farm was quite new and very clean, the right size for young kids to roam around and watch the animals. You can smell the rosemary and lavender from the garden. The breakfast is fresh and tasty and the people who serve us are very warm. The estate guard dog Kony is super friendly and my kids loved playing with her. The Arcadia is a mountainous area which is very different from other more popular Greek destinations. Noch nie wurden wir so freundlich begrüßt. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich schön mit dem besten Ausblick, den man sich vorstellen kann. Man konnte sogar auf das Dach und hatte einen 360Grad Ausblick. Der Sonnenuntergang ist umwerfend! Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich, wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt.Die anliegende Stadt ist wirklich charmant mit den Buchten und allem drumherum. If you want to relax but still feeling like at home this is the place. The house is in an amazing country environment and the house itself is very nice and every detail is thought with attention and elegance. The owner is very kind and provides you with all the information about Crete in advance. She is also very quick in answering if you need something ( our gas can finished on a Sunday and she managed to replace it in few hours.) I was pleasantly surprised with the food, it was always fresh, tasted good and selection/variety was impressive. Buffet always clean, and well maintained. The views from this hotel are mesmerizing, sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. The only minus for us was that if you want to go to the beach you need to pay for lounge chairs, it wasn’t very expensive. The beaches near the hotel are kinda rocky, if you want a nice sandy beach there is Agia Pelagia Beach, it’s 10 min drive. The housekeeping lady in our section was so friendly and helpful. In general all hotel staff was very friendly, we had no issues.
