"We had a king sized room on the second floor. Comfortable bed. Amazing views of the lake plus it was lovely to have a balcony with outside seating. It was easy to control the heating. Good self service breakfast."

Carvery bit disappointed the Turkey was lovely but veggies needed replenishing and were cold also no gravy. Perhaps we should have waited for it to be refreshed. Will know next time. "Mattresses on beds poor in room 225 had to change rooms around 01:00 Sunday morning as noisy room next door to our original room 131 so on the whole not a great experience for ourselves unfortunately."

"The Talbot Hotel is a very quaint hotel. It’s location in Oundle is ideal and central. The courtyard is a great place to soak up the sun with a cold beverage. Dorotha and Aaron were a pleasure to deal with, as were all staff. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this location."
