"Was an amazing experience. I’ve stayed at Ocean El Faro and Majestic Elegance in the past, and they are no comparison to the Finest. All of the small details here add up to a very high-quality experience. The finishing and the choice of hardware and materials used in the building is up the finest quality. All the technological additions for room service air conditioning and other amenities are top-notch. They definitely have high-quality food And the concierge are well trained respectful and deliver with timely results. We had a closet door that was broken and we called our concierge and someone was there to fix it within 10 minutes. We had a similar situation with the lock on our front door of our room and they were here to replace the lock within 30 minutes. The only downsides were that our room smelled a little bit like cigar smoke and the smell did not leave for the entire week that we were there. Additionally, it was a bit disappointing that at such a high-end resort. It was hard to get smoothies or drinks like piña coladas made with real fruit. A number of the drinks still used syrup, which felt like a miss when you were in the tropics. The final area that the resort could improve is in the area of, customer service as the vast majority of their team were fantastic, but there were a few that did not seem very happy in their jobs and it showed how they lacked the ability to understand customer service. No place is perfect, but overall the Finest was truly the finest."
