Au Bivouac de Napoléon

Au Bivouac de Napoléon

10/10 Excellent
"So freaking cute. No A/C but renovated bathrooms. Hosts were the best part, staff included. Everybody was so kind and willing to help where possible. Dinner was okay - expensive for low quality steak but no other options in the area really. Breakfast underwhelming but on par with other options for the area. Bus is sparse so prepare properly. No real check out time but they prefer 10-11 am, the former higher desired so they have more time to flip the room. Reminded me of staying at my grandparent’s house in the best way."

Hotel Des Alpes

10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely stay at Hotel des Alpes. The owner is so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely dinner which he hosted and he had us laughing every time he came to check on us. The dinner was amazing, as was the local wine. Breakfast was also perfect. A lovely buffet with just enough to choose from, and everything was top notch. We came back a few days later on our way back and the owner was thrilled to see us. When he realized he had us staying in the same room as a few days earlier, he immediately switched us to a suite just because he could. Such a lovely little spot just over the border from Switzerland, and such a great hotel to stay at, especially with the attentive staff. 10/10."
