"We only stayed 1 night. Selected Dakota because we were flying out the next day and Dakota offers a complimentary airport shuttle. Our room was very large and clean with complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Staff was very friendly and ready to help us with anything we needed. Great hotel and we would definitely stay here again."

"Excellent place. The coffee place downstars and the bar are a great ammeniti either for first thing in the morning, or after a long day of walking in the city. there is a bus station just outside the hotel, and the prices for the Ubers to the downtown were good (about 9-11 pounds) nice pleople at the reception, the gym was super big."

"The room I got was super spacious and had a beautiful chandelier which gave the room so much charm. It is literally walking distance to the Haymarket station, which is super convenient. Lots of options for eating out, my favorite spot was Old Pal Bar& Kitchen (6 min walk) Staff is super friendly. Definitely recommended!!!"

"Lovely stay , good sized room and bathroom. Clean and cosy . Very welcoming staff and an amazing breakfast. One thing I noticed was the gutters on the garden rooms needs cleaning or you will have damp damage."

"Ideal location for visiting someone at Heriot Watt uni. Free parking and excellent bus links into city. Good, varied breakfast selection. Evening meals not so good - limited menu anyway but when we were there they had also run out of a few things. Extremely spacious room with a huge bed. Pillows too soft for me but that's just personal taste!"
