I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We...

Beautiful hotel close to the train station. The hotel grounds are exceptional and customer service is outstanding. Cannot wait to return next year.

Lovely stay here. The room was fantastic, staff helpful and breakfast was amazing. The chauffeur ride into Cartmel was also a great touch. We shall return!

Owners very helpful and obliging ,room comfortable ,very clean in all areas.Excellant breakfast ,cooked fresh to order.lovelyhomely atmosphere.would stay again.

Loved this place, a little out of Cartmel but liked that, pleasant evening stroll into town, great view across the racecourse, well looked after hotel, plenty of parking Points to improve could do with some car chargers but thats a minor point, will be back

Nice hotel, 5 minutes to the promenade and town. Lovely breakfast, nice big rooms. A bit dated but in a quant way.

Hard to access carpark on site. Very cramped entrance on a major slope and limited parking space. We were met on arrival after ringing doorbell by woman who wasn't very friendly. She asked us how we managed to get into reception as we apparently shouldn't have been able as door should have been locked or closed. (Dont see how that was our fault) Then she states if we turn up for breakfast there might not be a table available and would let us know when we could get one!? (Turned out not a...

Fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Good food

I put in the postcode but car sat nav directed me as far as the local pub only! After turning down a wrong lane past the pub in the pitch dark (9pm on an October evening) ascending up at a dead end I rang the owner who instructed me to carry on past the pub for another 2 miles! I eventually arrived at a building signposted as the ‘equestrian centre’ so I drove a bit further and ended up driving around some lane in a woods (surrounded by curious deer and badgers!). I rang the owner again and...

Beautiful hotel in beautiful location. The attention to detail was fantastic far more than expected. The team at the Hideaway go above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable. We had a wonderful weekend.

Ideal location with easy access from motorway. Well presented resort with nice views from lodge over lake and plenty of things to do on-site. Staff always well presented, polite and very helpful, always seem to enjoy what they are doing. Nice restaurant with plenty of food choices which are reasonably priced. Definitely will be going back.

Everything about The Royal is quality. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable and the food is excellent, varied and very good value for money

Perfect location and the breakfast was beautiful. Thank you

Great stay would stay again if i was in Windermere

Loved our break, staff were very friendly & were happy to help. Our room was spotlessly clean with excellent views & a very comfy bed. Will definitely be booking here again
